DMCA Copyright Infringement Notice

Last updated: November 11, 2025

1. Introduction

ScoreboardMax (“we,” “our,” “us”) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. This DMCA policy explains how to submit a copyright infringement notice and how to file a counter-notification if you believe content was removed in error or misidentified. This page is provided for convenience only and does not constitute legal advice.

Important: To qualify for certain protections under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512), service providers typically designate and publicly list a DMCA agent and register that agent with the U.S. Copyright Office. While we provide the process below, we may update these procedures and our agent details from time to time.

2. How to Submit a DMCA Notice

If you believe that content available through ScoreboardMax infringes your copyright, please send a written notice that includes all of the following information:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are covered.
  • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and that you want removed or access to which you want disabled, including a URL or other specific location sufficient for us to find the material.
  • Your contact information, including your full name, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement of good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

Designated DMCA Agent (Contact)

Name/Title: DMCA Agent

Email: dmca@scoreboardmax.com

This contact is for alleged copyright infringement notices and counter-notifications only.

Upon receiving a complete and valid notice, we will remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material and notify the user who uploaded it. Where appropriate, we may request additional information to verify your claim.

3. Counter-Notification (If Your Content Was Removed)

If you believe your content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification containing:

  • Identification of the material that was removed or to which access was disabled, and the location where the material appeared before removal.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled due to mistake or misidentification.
  • Your name, telephone number, and email address, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of competent courts where you are located, and will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notice or that person’s agent.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

After we receive a valid counter-notification, we may forward it to the original complainant and, in our discretion and as permitted by law, restore the material unless the complainant informs us that a court action has been filed seeking to restrain you from engaging in the infringing activity.

4. Repeat Infringers

In appropriate circumstances, we may suspend or terminate accounts of users determined to be repeat infringers.

5. User Responsibility for Content

Users are responsible for the content they upload to ScoreboardMax, including team logos, rosters, images, and other media and must ensure they have all necessary rights. By uploading content, users represent and warrant that the content does not infringe the rights of any third party.

6. Misrepresentations

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing, or that material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, may be liable for damages (including costs and attorneys' fees) incurred by the alleged infringer, by any copyright owner or licensee, or by a service provider.

7. Changes to this DMCA Policy

We may update this DMCA policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above. We encourage you to review this page periodically for the latest information on our copyright procedures.
